Walking Bicycles this December

So,These are from when I first saw them.  The previous pictures are from a Saturday show, when they opened for Bang Bang.  I cannot praise this band enough.  Previously I mentioned Joy Division in the context of explaining the sound of Walking Bicycles, or something like that.  They have that live JD sound.  I can totally see Ian Curtis doing his epileptic dance moves to this.  This is perfect for a night at a goth club.  People will dance to this.   Before getting to know Walking Bicycles, there were all these bands that are great but far away that I wished to see.  Black Ice from California, Soho Dolls and Ipso Facto from England....I think.   One thinks 

automatically that the best is out there, outside your native surroundings.   You don't think to look at what is closest to you.  Local is the last place to look.  Tony Wilson, thought local and in time everyone thought Manchester.  I can really see the appeal of that example, especially now.
